As a former case manager, I have worked with numerous residential and customized living homes. While exploring residential options for a family member, this was one of the few providers that offer wheelchair accessible homes and provide support to individuals with high care needs. What really stood out, and led to our family member moving to a Midwest home, was the owner. Her commitment to serving those in need of care; and her dedication to treating residents with respect, dignity and personalized care is exceptional. Without her dedication and commitment to provide this support and care, our family member would have spent months in a nursing home while we navigated the endless delays and unimaginable barriers in accessing waiver funding for residential services. We are STILL navigating those barriers. “Person first” and “person centered care” are not just government program slogans at Midwest – it is demonstrated on a daily basis. We are so grateful for the care provided by this wonderful company!

I currently live in there Burnsville for 3 months and this homeowner is by far the most professional caring person in this business. I lived here with no federal or state money for 2 months till turned 55 with her caring more about me then the money. My roommates are very tight group because of the owner. My house manager leaves no stone un turned she is 110 percent acting in our best interest with a heart as big as the owners. They have modified three rooms to try to build a better life for me. I hate living in group homes because of tons of owner looking for free money or me as there property not here you are always respected. I recommend Midwest residential for your self or family members. I moved from a house in lakeville with the owner talking crazy bad about me and my temper. My new owner met me anyways and saw the real me and gave me some options that I see her as a blessing from god. From the bottom of options to the best of options. I love and respect this place for how supported I feel here

I have been impressed with the quality of the care he has received, the caring nature of the staff, the expertise of the physical therapists, and the up-to-date and clean facilities.

This is the best nursing home I have ever been in. It is kept very clean. I am getting better. I am able to walk since 4 years ago without the use of a cane or walker.

This is definitely the best place to take your loved-ones to. The level of professionalism and care here has been quite amazing.

I enjoy bingo when I’m not out at an appointment. The nurse aides here help me with so many things and I can’t tell you how much I really appreciate them.
